Happy Halloween: Fun Makeup Ideas for Halloween Night

Halloween is a time of the year where we get to be anything we want to be, whether it's an animal, favorite movie character or even a celebrity. Here at BuyMeBeauty we came up with some great ideas on how to use your very own beauty products to do the perfect halloween makeup.

Step by Step:

Step 1: This Halloween look is gorgeous and is perfect if you're not looking for a gory costume. To start, the first thing you will need to do is apply your foundation, concealer and powder just like you would do on a normal day-to-day basis. 

Step 2: Next up are the eyes. Since witches typically have very dark features, we are going to make the eyes and lips dramatic. Using Loreal Colour Riche Eye Shadow in color 240 Treasured Bronze, apply the base shade onto your entire eye lid using your favorite brush. This color is the 2nd color to the top (the golden brown color). Next, you'll want to contour. To do this, use the 2nd darkest color and apply it the the crease and blend it in (it's 3rd to the top of the pallet). To define your look and to help make it pop, use the sponge tip applicator and apply the darkest shade along your lash line. Last but not least, highlight your brown bone with the lightest shade and apply it to the inner corner of your eye.

Step 3: Now that we have the eye shadow completed we are going to do the winged eyeliner using Rimmel Gel Waterproof Eyeliner. You can use tape as a guide to help you by placing it at an angle on the outer corner of your eye. Using a eyeliner pencil, apply to the bottom waterline of your eyes to give it the completed, dramatic look.

Step 4: Apply Mascara.

Step 5: To finish off your look we are using Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain in color 445 Cinnamon Smile. This lip color is long-lasting and will keep your lips looking gorgeous throughout the night.

Tip: Applying funky Halloween Lashes will really make this look pop.

There are so many different styles and ways to do this kind of makeup but here we are showing you the steps on how to get that perfect pretty witch look. With a little bit of eyeliner, foundation, lipstick and eyeshadow you will achieve this look guaranteed.

Step 1: This makeup is very quick and simple. The first thing you will need to do is apply your foundation and concealer.

Step 2: Next, apply your eyeshadow as you would do regularly. For a more subtle look try using neutral colors such as browns or light pinks. In this look we are using Maybelline Color Explosion in color 25 Pink Punch. 

Step 3: Apply pink blush to your cheeks using Revlon Colorstay Mineral Blush to give you a sweet and rosy look.

Step 4: Using your eyeliner, create a winged eyeliner onto your eyelids. If you're not a winged eyeliner pro, you can use tape as a guide by placing it at an angle to help you draw out a perfect line. Next, take the eyeliner and color in a heart on the tip of your nose. Draw a line that leads down to the tip of your upper lip. Now you will draw several dots and few whiskers on both cheeks.

Step 5: Finally you'll want to apply pink or red lip stick. We like to use Lip Fusion Infatuation in color Screen Siren.

Tip: Using Cat Ears will give this look the finishing touch.

This cute cat look is perfect for the person who wants to dress up, but isn't looking for something too dramatic. All you will need for this is eyeshadow, blush, black liquid eyeliner and red or pink lipstick.

Geisha:

Step by Step:

Step 1: This look is probably one of our favorite Halloween looks. The Geisha, in Japanese culture, are women who entertain through conversation, dance and song. To start off this look you can use basic costume makeup in white and apply it to your face, covering it entirely (yes, including your brows) all the way down to your neck. If your costume makeup comes on a bit wet or greasy, apply some baby powder to make it matted and drier.

Step 2:  Using Loreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner, create a very thin winged look. Try not to make the wing so long and dramatic, as Geishas' makeup are usually very plain and simple. After completing the eyes, using that same liner to draw in your brows. As you can see, their brows are very straight with a very slight curve and pointed tip.

Step 3: To add that subtle touch of pink in the eyes and brows we're going to use Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow. Using a small shadow brush apply right below your waterline. Next add a small amount of the shadow blending into the black of your brows as shown in the image above.

Step 4: Finally, apply your red lipstick. Here we are going to use Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil. Geisha's lips are fairly small so try not to go over your lip line.

Tip: Adding flowers to your hair will give you a complete geisha look.
